My husband and I came in the store looking for a specific item that we saw online. The online advertisement did not say that it would have to be on order and not already in the store for pickup. We explained to the female manager that we had been to three different locations of Ace Hardware and True Value looking for the same item. We asked her if she would call the North Charleston store because it was the last store we would need to visit. Asking her to confirm if it was there or not there. What we were told was that she couldn't call another store unless the revenue was coming to her own store. That screams lack of customer service big time. I informed her that I lived in Ridgeville and have already traveled each store because the online information stated it was in store but because I didn't order it within her store she couldn't help me any other way. I will not be stopping at the store ever and I will make sure other people know the lack of consideration.

YO! READ the P & C story about this place! The business was sold, but I hear that they still carry those rice cookers! ~~~~~ When I am in Mt. Pleasant and have a few moments, I stop by Royall Ace Hardware to take a peek at the plants. If I am going to spend $4 or $5 dollars on a small potted plant this year, it might as well be an interesting one. Yesterday, a polite, fast and helpful young man rang me up and boxed my purchase.
